Continuing Education - 12 hours required on a biennial basis.
Practitioners are still required to renew their licenses annually.
Only 4 of the 12 biennial hours are allowed to be through correspondence or online courses.
Maine will accept any program approved by Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. 
All of Practicum Strategies' courses are approved by the Academy (APFSP).
Independent study accepted with final exam.
Carryover CE Hours are not permitted.
Exemption for Inactive status.

There is never a charge for additional certificates for each state of licensure.
